a.   Harry started is Music Career as a club singer in New York City to pay for is Acting Classes.

b.   1949  -  Started his recording career with Roost Label.

c.    1949  -  Received a contract with RCA Label.

d.    1953  -  Recorded "Matilda"  on April 27th 1953.

e.     1956  - His break through album Calypso  Albany. It became the first million selling album in the 
                     United States and also in England.

f.      1956  - He also sang Blues, Folk, Gospel, Show Tunes and American Standards.

g.     1959  -  He starred in Tonight with "Belafonte"     He recorded two Album at Carnegie Hall
                     "There is a hole in my bucket"



h.    1961   -  Sang at President Kennedy inaugural Gala.

i.     1962   -  His Mid-Night Special, is famous for introducing the young Bob Dylan to the Nation.

j.    1965   -   Harry inter-vied Dr Martin Luther King Jr on national TV.

k.   1970  -    He left RCA Label for good.

l.     1953  -   Harry acted in many film and his first acting role was " Bright Road"  (1953)
