Carol LakeCarol Lake has worked for J.P. Morgan for 12 years and is currently charged with the development of the firm’s corporate responsibility agenda for Europe, Middle East and Africa, extending across 23 countries.
In 2006 Carol served as a member of the Expert Panel as part of the UK Government’s Equalities Review led by Trevor Phillips. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Carol held a number of senior marketing and management positions for companies including British Telecom, McDonnell Douglas and Cable & Wireless, working in the UK, Australia and the Caribbean.
Outside work, Carol is actively engaged in efforts to improve education. She is on Advisory Board of the Education Endowment Foundation, and in September 2013 will become a member of the Governing Council of University College London. Carol also has a deep commitment to the arts: she is a member of the board of the Young Vic and Sadler’s Wells, and chairs the board of Theatre Royal Stratford East.
