Abigail Blackburn is currently a senior contributing editor for Hearst Magazines, working across print and digital development projects. She has worked in mainstream women’s publishing for more than 16 years, in roles including Editor of Now magazineDeputy Editor of Cosmopolitan (Aust) and Deputy Editor of Woman. She has also held editorial positions on The Daily Mail’s Femail, New WomanTV Week andCosmopolitan UK.
British born of Jamaican heritage, Abigail is married and the mother of two sons. She moved to Australiaat age three and was mainly raised in rural Australia. She has spent most of her adult career working in London, along with the occasional stint back in Sydney. She is passionate about audience engagement, great writing, and discovering and nurturing editorial talent from all walks of life.
