Caesar Andrew Augustus Powhatan Taylor
This rather dynamic looking gentleman was one of the first African American clergymen in Ocala, Florida. He was also an author, lecturer and educator. His books (still in print and easily available to read for free online) written in the 19th and 20th centuries dealt with race relations, something America still hasn't gotten right and in my humble opinion never will. Some titles include:

'Hell located, described, and measured according to the Bible and science: In a lecturewritten in 1887.

'The Negro race, retrospective and prospective, or, The Negro's past and present, and his future prospects' written in 1890.

'The Conflict and Commingling of the Races; A Plea Not for the Heathens by a Heathen to Them That Are Not Heathens' written in 191
