                        BLACK                SOCIAL            HISTORY                                                                                                                                                                                                     Leandro Jones Johan Bacuna (born 21 August 1991) is a Dutch Antillean professional footballer who plays as a wingerand right back for English club Aston Villa. Bacuna has been capped 20 times at youth levels for the Netherlands national team and also represented the Netherlands Antilles at youth level.

Career

FC Groningen

On 30 October 2009 Bacuna made his first team debut for FC Groningen in the Eredivisie, in the match against PSV Eindhoven.[2] Bacuna has also played for FC Groningen's youth teams. On 6 November 2009, Bacuna scored his first goal in the first team, in the league match against Heracles Almelo. FC Groningen won the match with 4–1.[3]

Aston Villa

It was announced on 13 June 2013 that Bacuna had signed a three-year contract at Premier League club Aston Villa.[4][5]On 27 July 2013, Bacuna scored his first goal for Villa in a friendly match against Crewe Alexandra, a powerful shot from 25-yards, the match finished 5–1 to Villa. On 21 September Bacuna impressed, deputising at right back for Matthew Lowtonagainst Norwich City and was praised for his role of successfully closing down Nathan Redmond and not allowing him to cause danger to the defence. He scored his first Premier League goal for Aston Villa on 28 September at home toManchester City, an unstoppable free kick in the 73rd minute and Villa's second goal in a 3–2 victory. He also had a part to play in the first goal assisting Karim El Ahmadi. His second goal came from another stunning free kick in the claret and blues' 2–0 victory over Cardiff City.He continued his goalscoring run with goals against West BromEverton and Norwich.
