deloris batsonDeloris Batson is President and CEO at DB&L Management Consultants, Inc. The company specializes in monitoring large construction management at risk projects, consults with Minority and Women Owned Businesses to acquire contracts on these projects, and consults with a Fiber Optic Training Companies to acquire jobs for African American Males.

She is an accomplished senior professional and business owner with extensive multisite experience (over 20 years) in the development and implementation of compliance programs and contracts for minority and women-owned business entities (MWBE), governmental systems/ordinances and programs, primarily in the local and county government, working with the private sector and construction trades, and consulting with professional design firms. She is an expert consultant skilled in managing processes of $500 million plus, leading/managing contracts/subcontract requirements, specifications as well as developing teams across multiple businesses and industries. Deloris is a great communicator with excellent facilitation skills, strong influencing skills as well as problem solving and business coaching skills used to strengthen management teams.

Deloris was awarded the Black History Committee 2012 Paul C. Perkins Community Service Award, the 2011 Women Business Owners Succeeding Against All Odds Award from the City of Orlando, Central Florida Chapter Public Policy of the Year Award NC100BW, 2011, Leadership Award from the Black History Committee of Orange County, Inc., Star Performer Award from Director of Fiscal and Human Resources Division, Awards for Development of the Networking Professional Job Fair, Community Banking Award (Residential Real Estate Hub of the Year), NACO Award – Phase 3 and 4 of the Orange County Convention Center, Completed the Public Purchasing in Florida Course Certificate and designation as a, Florida Certified Purchasing Agent (2006)
Deloris has been a member of the NCBW, Central Florida Chapter, for three years and is one of the chartering members of that chapter. Deloris Batson is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women; President, National Coalition of 100 Black Women Central Florida Chapter; Valencia Community College Black Advisory Committee; and the NAACP.
She is past member of Design Build Institute of America, Florida Association of Public Purchasing Officials (FAPPO, and Orange County Government Public Works Transportation Liaison Committee.
