                 BLACK               SOCIAL             HISTORY                                                                                                                                                                                                         Ahmad D'shaad Dixon (born September 5, 1991) is an American football safety for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He played college football at Baylor.

High school

Dixon attended Midway High School in Waco, Texas, where he registered more than 300 tackles in his prep career. As senior in 2009, he was named first-team All-District 16-4A safety, for the third consecutive season after leading Midway High to a 9-3 record. He was also a track athlete, and was part of Midway 4x400 meter relay squad that advanced to state track meet in 2008 as a sophomore. He played in the 2010 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
Considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, he was rated as the 18th best safety prospect in the nation.[1] He accepted a scholarship from Baylor over offers from Oklahoma StateTennessee and Texas.[2]

College career

In 2010, Dixon played in 11 games. In 2011 and 2012, Dixon got an Honorable mention All-Big 12 selection after starting all 13 games at nickelback. As a senior in 2013, Dixon was a first-team All-Big 12 selection.[3]
On September 26th 2013, was arrested for a misdemeanor assault.

Professional career

In the 2014 NFL Draft, Dixon was selected 248th overall by the Dallas Cowboys[4]
