BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY: BLACK PEOPLE IN AUSTRALIA SLAVERY AND PACIFIC ISLAND SLAVERY:

Australian are very very sensitive about slavery as they were abducting and kidnapping Black Bodies to work the sugar cane fields in Australia's Queensland sugar industries  and Pacific Islander Slavery. They called it "Black-birding" "Black- jacking" more like Car Jacking, but picking up Black Pacific Islanders into slavery.The sugar industry in Australia made the sugar plantation owners, refinery and distillery owners amassed a large fortunes from the  Blood, Sweat and Tears of enslaved Pacific Islanders




































An 1886 cartoon depicting a Slave Trader using a Coconut as a lue to entice buyer for his "Niggers". South Sea Islander Trader  "Now Gentlemen give ma a start, what shall we say for this " Ere Coconut - and the "Nigger" thrown in ?  Five Pounds only Bid for this coconut:  Five Pounds, Five Pounds Only - Did I hear Six ? No advance : going at five, Gone-  Next "Nigger"  I mean next Coconut".  This shows the type of cartoon based on what was going on at the time.
