BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY: AFRICA BEFORE THE SLAVE TRADE, IMAGES:

I some times wonder what African Communities, Kingdoms, Villages and the general day to day living of these proud tribes that go about their daily work to survive, as it would have been so different before the Arabs and the Europeans arrive to change the face of Africa for ever. I am certain in certain parts the cultural, religions, beliefs, their own form of medical needs would all have been taken care off in a structured form, and possible trade with near tribes and far away tribes and distant kingdom would all have taken place and of course the great human weakness wars, battles to capture slaves, women and children for their own development as the dominant tribe in the region.

I have found some very very interesting images of Africa as it was before the Arabs and Europeans set foot on the soil of Africa. This has come as a surprise to some of my friends who has always felt that Africa lark its own history before the meeting of heads with the vastly superior European culture, as I am always reminded. I will leave you to judge and make your mind up about were the African culture has come from.
