This is just a quick Time Line on the rise of Black People from the Slavery Days to the current time as Blacks People made the slow progress of been owned by fellow man, miss treated, in the worst possible way and manner, the revolts on the Slave Ships, the revolts on the plantations, revolutions in some of the Caribbean Island like Hatti, the American Revolution were Black Slaves and Free Slaves choose to fight with the British as Loyalist and other Slaves Choose to fight with the Rebels or Freedom Fighters of Free Americans, the American- British War of 1812 again Black People choose to fight for the American Republic, then the mother of all Civil Wars, The American Civil War again Black People fought for the Union to gain their freedom which of course came at a price.
The Mexican- American War saw Black People sign on to fight the Mexican Army, then the Spanish- American War saw Black people right in the middle of every combat during that war. Black People are called to fight for their beloved country in the First World War, Then again in the Second World War which saw Blacks in the Air Force as Fighter Pilots taking on German Fighters over European Sky, Black Soldiers in Combat on U.S. Navy Ships in Europe and the Far East. Its not over yet, the 1950s saw the dawn of the Korean War with Black People in every aspects of the various Military Forces fighting in Korea. Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guards. Just when you think it will get a bit quite, the Vietnam Wars develops and Black People are again called upon to do their duty for God and Country and as usual they gave their all with death and glory for the Brave Black Military Men and Women who served their country. Today they we remember the Black People who fought in Iraq in every Military role that the U.S. Armed Forces provide in defense of their country. And now the Black People are now fighting and dieing in the Afgan War and playing an important role in the defence of the free world.
