BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY : BLACK VICTORIAN IN BRITAIN :

In England many pople hold the view that there were no black people have until the advent of the slave trade. This is backed up by the vast majority of cultural artifacts but not by the historical records. Black people were almost certainly in England well before the 1700's. During the Victorian era black people for the first time in our history began to be depicted more frequently in serious studies rather than just in racist caricatures. Its quite amazing to find that before the Victoria era most of the  artist, cartoon and posters showing black people in racist pose and offensive with politically incorrect manner that drive  down black people images into the racist gutter. Its funny that no allowance was made during the slave trade, the segeration period and Jim Crow years to run down the most vile racist images of black people.

I will let you have a look at some of the nasty images that are suppose to be a representation of black people, in all manner ways that is dreamt to make fun of the black person as a non entity.
