BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY : WHITE MAN WARS - BLACK MAN SACRIFICE WITH BLACK SOLDIERS :

The wars fought in the various centuries 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century, black men and women served and saw active services in various part of the world. Take Africa before the first world war, when Africa was colonized by various European countries, Britain, France, Germany. Portugal and Spain and they all had African soldiers in their colonies and these African soldiers were able to see active service in their own continent in campaigns to capture German controlled territories of Togo,Cameroon, German West Africa and German East Africa. Of a population of some 30,00,000 in the African colonies of the British Empire 55,000 men  served as combatant soldiers  and many hundred of thousands more as carriers and axillary troops.An estimated 10,000 were killed or died while serving.





























Of the estimated  1,186.000 French troops killed or missing in action in world war one, 71,000 were Black soldiers from the French African Colonies. Loads of Muslim soldiers from Algeria, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Guinea died in their thousands. A major incident of the First World War is sinking of the SS Mendi with the loss of 600 Black African soldiers who drowned in soldiers and their white officers. Only the White Officers received Official Recognition for their loss in the SS Mendi Incident.
