                                 BLACK               SOCIAL           HISTORY                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           A French footballer of Angolan descent Blaise Matuidi plays as a defensive midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain FCand the France national football team.
































































































Matuidi was born in Toulouse which is situated in the Haute-Garonne department. The footballer’s father was an Angolan while his mother was a French woman.
The midfielder played for the youth teams of such football clubs as US Fortenay-sous-Bois, CO Vincennois and Créteil. In the 2004/05 season the footballer played with Troyes AC where in his first season Blaise appeared twice as a member of the major squad. During that season Troyes was promoted to Ligue 1 and the footballer played in the team on permanent basis. After the club’s relegation from Ligue 1 in 2006/07 Matuidi moved to AS Saint-Étienne to continue his career in top flight of the French football.
On July 2011 the midfielder transferred to Saint-Étienne’s Ligue 1 opponents - Paris Saint-Germain FC.
The footballer played for several France national youth teams. He participated in 19 matches with the U-21 football team. On 7 September 2010 Blaise Matuidi made his debut as the France national football team player. He also appeared as a substitute in the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina
