BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY: THE " JIM CROW LAWS" FROM 1880s to 1960s :

The "Jim Crow Laws"  came into the Southern States from the 1880s  to  1960s when the Black Civil Rights Movement fought for the right of Black People to be treated as equal in the country of their birth. Some of the Laws can be seen as so inhuman one cannot understand what the thinking of these people.

a,  COHABITATION:  Any Negro man and White woman or any white man and negro woman, who are not married to each other, who shall habitually live in and occupy in the night time, the same room shall each be punished by imprisonment not exceeding twelve (12) months or by a fine not exceeding five hundred ($500.00) dollars  (Florida)







































b. EDUCATION :  The school for White Children and the school for Negro Children shall be conducted separately.   ( Florida )
