BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY : AFRICAN AMERICAN PHOTO POST CARDS :








































































No other photographic format illustrated America during the period between 1905 to 1925 better than the photo cards, the multitude of subjects found in any other photographic format can also be found on a photo cards with the photo postcard selected as the format of choice of many small towns professional photographer  and amateurs. Whether illustrating state fairs, store opening, railroads coming to town, sporting events, or just portraits of ordinary people, the post card photographer was their to take the picture.
