BLACK SOCIAL HISTORY : BLACK PEOPLE IN THE NAZI ARMY :

A number of Blacks served in the Wehrmacht, the number of German Blacks was low, but there were some instances of their being enlisted within Nazi Organizations like the Hitler Jugend and the Wehrmacht. In addition there was an influx of volunteers during the African campaign which led to the existence of a number of blacks in the Wehrmacht and SS in such units as the Free Arabian Legion. Nazi Germany was a contradiction for Black people living in Germany before the Nazi took power, at first they did not bother the Blacks or Mix-Race people, as they were to busy with the Jews and Gypsies, but in time they then look at the Black Germans and there full racist value began to bring Black people in Nazi Germany in line with the suffering of the Jews.

In all respect, were Black People were enlisting in the Nazi Army, Black People in Nazi Germany were been ill-treated, victimized, put into various experiments on human guinea-pigs, sent to Nazi consteratation camps to be killed, or prisoners of war camps were they were ill-treated till they die, and also into forced labour camps to work in factories. In some cases they were just killed off.
