As of 2011 there are only between two African American Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court. Thurgood Marshall the first African American Justices appointed to the U.S. Supreme Courts: he served from 197 - 1991 and died on January 24th 1993 at the age of 84 years. Clarence Thomas the second African American Justice to serve on the court was nominated by George H.W. Bush in 1991 to succeed Thurgood Marshall, who retired the same year.
Since the early years of the 20th century where Black people started to push against the glass box surrounding them, they realized that this is going to be a long long long fight, a battle that will cost lives, a battle that will make heroes, will see friends and families dies so that others can live, so others can slowly take down the glass walls of the cadges that surround them. Its the strength of the African American, the African DNA that is so strong that its impossible to kill them off by working them to death. Today we can see that the Juristic System is now represented with African Americans at every level of the great American Dream and my Time Line Images will show the world how progress is been made in the 21st century.
